Order Export to Click & Drop

Stop entering orders manually today! Using our Click & Drop integration, you will be able to export all the relevant order and customer data out of Magento - directly into Click & Drop. All details of an order required to import into Click & Drop will be exported - just upload the exported orders file into Click & Drop and you'll be able to ship all the orders using Click & Drop straight away, without entering any details manually!

Tracking Import into Magento

It is also possible to import your tracking numbers back into Magento. While Click & Drop doesn't officially supports it, it is still possible to fetch your tracking numbers from Click & Drop to import them in batches into Magento. The process at the end of day would be as following: You run an 'Archived Shipments' report, select your date, select all records and press "print". This opens a new window that your can ctrl+a, ctrl+c and paste into a text editor to save as tab delimited. This file you'd then just need to upload into Magento - that's it: Shipments/tracking numbers/notifications for clients for the shipments you imported using our integration get created. Please note RM could remove the functionality we now use to retrieve tracking numbers.

API or File Uploads

Important: When purchasing this integration, you have two options and we'll ask you what you prefer: Either we can set up the official Royal Mail Click & Drop integration for you in Magento that uses the Magento API and RM API, this would solely be a service and you would not be using our plugin/code to connect Magento to RM then. This limits you to not being able to customize data exchanged between Magento and RM, but it is a direct API connection we can set up for you. The second option is to set up our own Click & Drop integration, which is fully customizable and fields can be mapped/customized, however, this does NOT use the API but rather uses a file-based import/export upload/download approach, which is easy nevertheless but not the same as a direct API connection.

Notes, Compatibility

Important: Please make sure that your Magento webserver comes with support for the XSL PHP extension. To see if your server supports XSL, please download (save as a .php file) and run this file on your server or have a look at the phpinfo() output on your server to see if XSL support has been enabled.

Please note we do not connect the Click & Drop API but rather use imports/exports using file uploads. This is super easy nevertheless.
